SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency mentioned it truly is alarmed in regards to the higher variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no sassa absolutely functional office focused on service the area daily. The provider place made for intervention activities a superior inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it tough with the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to help the servicing of all buyers and enhance use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
